Today’s project is super easy and great for beginners! I built this DIY purse rack and I’m excited to share all the details with you.

I usually stash all of my purses at the top of my closet, but I wanted easier access to the handful of purses I use the most, so I decided to build this small purse rack for the wall beside my bedroom door. You could definitely modify the dimensions if you want it longer or if you want to add more hooks.
I used the Kreg Jig 520 PRO for this build. As you know by now, it’s my favorite pocket hole jig because it’s user friendly, lightweight and portable.
I ordered some brass hooks online, and I ended up having to cut down the screws it came with because they were too long and poked out the back, so I recommend either doing that or buying shorter screws to attach your hooks.
I stained it with a Provincial colored stain which I love. You can find the full tutorial and build plans over on the Kreg site, so be sure to check that out.
