I am really excited about today’s project, as it’s something I had been looking forward to designing and building for quite some time. Today I’m sharing my DIY record player table with you!
Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Kreg. All opinions are my own.
I teamed up with Kreg for this build, and you can find the build plans and full tutorial over on their site.
As for the details, I added prefabricated legs to this record player table and a pretty, modern brass drawer pull for the drop-down compartment door. I added a drop-down compartment because quite frankly I absolutely hate building drawers, so decided to go with an alternative. You could definitely modify it to be a drawer instead if you choose to though.
I used my Kreg Jig 520PRO for this project because it’s my favorite. I love that it’s portable and user-friendly, and I use it all the time.
As for the paint color, please don’t hate me but I actually don’t know what it is! I do know that it’s Behr Marquee in an eggshell finish but I had it left over from an old project and the name is covered up and smudged so I can’t tell what it is, but I do plan on having it color matched because I love it so much so as soon as I figure out what it is, I will update this post and let you know.
I like the detail of the split dowel rods on the compartment front too. I added those using wood glue and a brad nailer.
Now I just need to expand my new record collection!
Be sure to head over to the Kreg site for the full tutorial, and I will have a YouTube video coming soon too!
